If anyone suspects they have the COVID-19 symptoms, they are encouraged by the CDC to stay at home and call the State of Georgia COVID-19 hotline.  The Health Department will conduct a phone interview to determine the likelihood of a possible COVID-19 infection.  If the interview results indicate the need for a physical evaluation, a home visit may be necessary for further testing.

Those that believe they may be infected with the COVID-19 virus, should NOT come to the hospital nor to a physician's office.

Remember the best way to protect oneself is to practice good hygiene including frequent hand-washing, avoid touching the face, and coughing/sneezing into a tissue or an elbow.

Bill Morris Park along with all county parks are closed and shall remain closed until such time as the State of Emergency has been lifted or amended.  During this State of  Emergency, Lake Lindsey Grace will be closed to any person that is not a resident of Wayne County and will be opened to Wayne County residents from the hours of 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.  Fishing shall be the only permissible use of Lake Lindsey Grace.  Further, the use of any jet ski or pleasure craft will be strictly prohibited.
