Community Development Block Grant Program

(Project Completion)

Wayne County has completed its FY2012 Community Development Block Grant Project. The following activities were completed:

• Street and drainage improvements for the Riverside Subdivision. The project benefited 215 people, 72% of which are considered low to moderate income.

Wayne County will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on October 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wayne County Commissioners Office located at 341 East Walnut Street, Jesup, Georgia 31546, for the purpose of discussing the completed activities and receiving citizen comments. All citizens are invited to attend this hearing.

A copy of the final Quarterly Report is now available at Wayne County Commissioners Office for review. Any persons desiring to comment on the performance of the project may write Wayne County Commissioners Office at 341 East Walnut Street, Jesup, Georgia 31546.
