Employee Incentive Program

(Project Completion Hearing)

Wayne County has completed its FY2013 Employment Incentive Program Grant Project. The following activities were completed:

Wayne County assisted with a loan for building improvements for Williams Brothers Trucking. These improvements were made to assist in creating 64 new jobs as well as $3,000,000 in private investment.

Items to be discussed at the hearing include:

• Amount of funds received and description of activities
• Jobs created, low to moderate income benefit
• Fair Housing laws and County’s plan to further fair housing

Wayne County will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on January 20, 2016 to begin at 10:30 A.M. at the Wayne County Commissioners Office, 314 East Walnut Street, Jesup, Georgia 31598.

A copy of the final quarterly report is now available at the Wayne County Commissioners Office at 314 East Walnut Street for review. Any person desiring to comment on the performance of the project may write to the County at P.O. Box 270, Jesup, Georgia 31598.
