Cheerleading

Wayne County Recreation and Parks Department offers the opportunity for new and experienced cheerleaders to gain knowledge in the areas of basic cheering while showing team spirit! For ages 7 through 12, the Cheerleading program will teach cooperation, self confidence, respect and all of the important basics of cheerleading...while gaining some great friends too! Cheerleaders will support the Mite and Midget Tackle league teams by showing there best moves in spirit of their favorite team. At the end of the season we honor all of the girls with an end of the season outing at Cracker Williams Park with games food and fellowship. 

Please note there will be no exceptions to the control date. No child will be allowed to cheer out of her age category. Also registration does not include uniform. Uniforms are required but at the discretion of the Cheer Coach. 

WCRD requires that all participants have a copy of their birth certificate on file to participate in any and all programs. 

Registration: July - August 

In Office:  July 19, 2021 - August 13, 2021 

Ages: 7-12 Female Only 

Control Date: Age PRIOR TO September 1st of the current year
